Love the post girls!!!!👍🏽
I think I would have to say that my favorite pair of shoes when I was young were a pair of crocs. 👏🏽👍🏻
GraceL says:
Thanks for entering our Giveaway!!
Rachel says:
Love this giveaway, but I especially love the question!!!! I definitely had a favorite pair of shoes as a little girl. They were sparkly *very sparkly* red heels- I must’ve been 3 years old. They were just my favorite thing ever, and it’s so sweet to reflect on that as a woman now, because I can see that even as a small child I had a clear (God-given) desire to be distinctly feminine. 💛
GraceL says:
I love this perspective on a childhood memory, Rachel!! Thank you so much for sharing and entering our giveaway!
Micah says:
My favorite shoes had to be a pair of JELLIES that my mom bought me to wear one summer! Something about the transparency paired with sparkly flecks throughout had me mesmerized. I will forever be grateful to mom for splurging! 😍✨💕💕
GraceL says:
The best!!! <3 <3
Elisha says:
My favorite pair of shoes growing up were red leather “salt water sandals” — I wore them everywhere! The beach, shopping trips, hikes, at home…

All of these goodies are soooo cute!!! I need them in my life!!
My favorite shoes growing up were the white platform sneakers! (Late 90s/early 2000s)
GraceL says:
Thank you so much for commenting and entering our giveaway, Jennifer!! As I photographed all these pieces I was getting selfish and almost didn’t want to give them away (hehe!) – but the though of someone else enjoying them softens the sadness a bit ;D
Elisabeth Leake says:
A long time ago I had a pair of tie-up shoes that had little blue flowers all over them. I loved them so much, I was really sad when I grew out of them.
GraceL says:
Thank you so much for encouraging us with your comment Elisabeth!! The young-life heartache of outgrowing a favorite item — I remember it well! 😀 😀
Any says:
My favorite pair was in 6th grade, those cheap jelly shoes.

I know what you are saying!! Jelly’s were everything wen I was 8!! Ha, I was on cloud nine when my mom bought me a pair with the sparkly flecks in them 🙂 🙂 Thank you so much for commenting and entering our giveaway!
Barbara Mazzacco says:
My favorite shoes when I was little was a pair of black leather Mary-Janes. I called them snacklies. No clue why. Mary-Janes have evolved quite a bit since I had mine and Gracious May has some really cute ones that I wish I had back then. ♥️
GraceL says:
I love this, Barbara! Thank you so much for sharing and entering this giveaway!
Martha Dominguez says:

Emily says:
I loved wearing work boots on our farm, but then wearing white Mary Janes to church made me feel so pretty! I can see this in my daughter too. She enjoys her rain boots to get muddy and then her Gracious Mays with a twirly dress:):)

These prizes are dreamy!!! Fingers crossed!!!:)

Congratulations Gracious May on 10 years!!! I was told that my first ever sentence was “I like these shoes” so my love of shoes goes way back, lol. 🙂 A favorite pair that I remember having were some brown leather sneakers type shoes.
GraceL says:
You are my kind of girl with that first sentence!! ;). Love this, thank you so much for sharing!!
Lucy Mae says:
One of my favorite pair of shoes was pink high heel dress up shoes I got for my 6th birthday. I wore those shoes till they fell apart!

Amy Robbins says:
When I was in 2nd grade I had a pair of black and white saddle shoes. I loved them! They were so cute with my bobby socks and skirts. It was in the early 80’s, but I thought it was so cool to wear the kind of shoes my mom wore when she was a kid!
GraceL says:
I love this!! Thank you so much for entering the giveaway and sharing a special memory!
Tia says:
This is so awesome!! What an awesome giveaway!! Love your company, and that you love Jesus openly!
Victoria says:
I adore this company and your bold love for Christ! ❤️
I still have the first pair I bought for my daughter, 6 years ago, and my second daughter also wore them!
My favorite (most memorable!) pair of shoes growing up were these frightful neon-colored L.A. Gear high-tops that my mom let me choose in 5th grade. Lord bless her! LOL 😂
GraceL says:
It would be so funny to compile a post on the things our mom’s let us have because we begged! I’m pretty sure I’d laugh HARD at that one!! Thank you SO MUCH for your encouragement, Victoria and for being such a faithful supporter!!
GraceL says:
Thank you, Tia!! I am so glad to be getting to know you and can’t wait to see your new girls come home!!
Ashley says:
I had these hot pink keds shoes that I would wear with pretty much everything! I don’t know why I loved them so much but I did. I even begged to wear them with my dresses. Drove my mom crazy. Haha!
GraceL says:
I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!!! My mom bought me a fresh pair of white keds every season until I was 10. Wore them with skirts, shorts, everything!!
Jocelyn says:
I had a pair of Punky Brewster shoes that I loved! Then were high tops that were so colorful and fun.
GraceL says:
Love this!! Punky Brewster had it nailed with their colors!!
Joan Osten says:
I had a little pair of black patent leather shoes that I wore everywhere. Can remember my mom cleaning mud caked on them so I could wear them to church on Sundays.
Have a new baby granddaughter coming, so looking forward to lots of more Gracious May shoes to come. They’re a favourite with each of my granddaughters. Thank you!!
GraceL says:
Joan, this comment means SO MUCH to my team and I!! THANK YOU!! (and I received your private comment and updated your email address)
Katherine McClinton says:
I love this giveaway! This company has been a saving grace for my daughter and I. My daughter has cerebral palsy and wears afo’s, I was told we would have to buy and cut up shoes to give her anything to wear. Then I found this company that makes shoes just for kids with braces and they are super cute!!
Helen M says:
I had these blue glitter jelly shoes with a small block heel. They were my favorites and I wore them with everything! Love your shoes for my girls and give them as baby gifts too!
Morgan Marquardt says:
One of my most favorite pairs of shoes were also jellies. They were clear and had a heal…I thought I was The Coolest!
GraceL says:
I remember having jellies when I was 8. My older sister was in point class (ballet) at that time. My jellies had a square toe so I’d dance around in them like Point Shoes 😀 😀 Thank you so much for commenting and entering our giveaway!
GraceL says:
Katherine, your words about our off-shoot line, shoesforafos.com is SUCH AN ENCOURAGEMENT!! Thank you for entering this giveaway!

Love my Mama Janes!!! Very Artisan!!! Thank you:). Worth the wait…incredibly comfortable!!!! My pick for most memorable shoes of my childhood will date me but I lived in leather black and white saddle oxfords. Spent the summers in no frills mono-colored rubber flip-flops. Blessings! All the best to you!!!

Love this!! Thanks so much for commenting and entering our giveaway!!

Thank you so much, Katelyn!!!
