What does it take?

What does it take to support a local businesses? Big government? A specific leader in office? A majority in congress?

No.

It takes you and me making the effort. Making the effort to connect with our neighborhoods, the businesses on main streets, and the people that live next door.

Simple? Yes. The easiest choice? Not always.

At Gracious May, our products have been made int he USA since we launched in 2008. It is our goal to support the communities closest to us through local manufacturing. We want to encourage you to do the same:

Choose community over convenience.

So today, make that choice: support the businesses in your community. Skip buying produce on Am*zon and go to your local Farmer’s Market. When you do shop online, try and source a USA made product from a small business.

This is short, but a message that’s at the front of my mind today. So many people are wondering what’s next. The answer to that lies not in any shift in government, but in the day to day choices we make.

Choosing to trust in the Lord.

Choosing to say what’s right when it isn’t easy.

Choosing habits that perpetuate community over convenience.
